VANISHING LIGHT
TIME KEEPS PASSING BY
LOST IN THE SHADOWS IN SEARCH FOR A BRIGHTER LIGHT
TO SHINE UPON THE DARKEST OF TIMES
TIME KEEPS PASSING BY
DROWNED IN MY SORROWS STILL SEEKING A BRIGHTER LIGHT
TO SHINE UPON MY FAILURES
TO EASE THE PAIN INSIDE THIS MIND
CHANGING
STILL SEARCHING FOR A WAY TO CHANGE ME
WHO CAN SAY HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH
AFTER EVERYTHING I'VE DONE JUST TO BE ENOUGH
WAS IT WORTH ALL THE PAIN I'VE ENCOUNTERED
AND EVERY NIGHT THAT I'VE SUFFERED
AND WHEN MY LIFE SEEMS SO GRAY
I TOOK A CHANCE IN HOPES THAT YOU'D BELIEVE IN ME
BUT IT WAS NOT ENOUGH TO CLEANSE A POISONED HEART
FROM DEVASTATION IN LIVING IN THE DARK
THE WINDS OF TIME ARE STRONG AND FLOW RIGHT THROUGH ME
DON'T LET YOUR LIGHT BURN OUT
DON'T LET THE LIGHT RUN OUT
DON'T LET THE LIGHT GO OUT
NEVER GONNA LET THE YEARS JUST PASS ME BY
EVEN THOUGH IT SEEMS I'VE LOST MY SENSE OF PRIDE
AND EVERY DAY CONSTANTLY WAITING FOR SOMETHING TO GAIN
SEARCHING FOR SOMEONE TO SAVE ME FROM PAIN
THE DARKNESS I LIVE IN
TIME KEEPS PASSING BY
LOST IN THE SHADOWS I SEARCH FOR A BRIGHTER LIGHT
TO SHINE UPON THE DARKEST OF TIMES
TIME KEEPS PASSING BY
DROWNED IN MY SORROWS STILL SEEKING A BRIGHTER LIGHT
TO SHINE UPON MY FAILURES TO EASE THE PAIN INSIDE
ENCASED ARE MY STRUGGLES YOU'VE GROWN TO KNOW
NEVER LETTING GO
ALWAYS CASTING THE SHADOWS
UNLEASH THE TIES
AND LET THE CURTAINS FALL TO SHINE UPON MY FAILURES
LET THE CURTAINS FALL TO SHINE UPON THE DARKEST OF TIMES
THE DARKNESS I LIVE IN

If Djent is an american way to harmonize and become more digestible the roughness of the sound of Meshuggah, The Dali Thundering Concept stands as a commited european defender of the agressive, technical, innovative and dissonant precepts in this style... And highly talented. feedthecrocodyle85

Been listening to this since 2013. Eventually tried to track down a CD but now I'm starting to go digital. So, has 7 years of listening to this EP dulled the experience? Not even slightly. Amazing work. From Nathan's ghost beats on the snare, polyrhythmic measures and insane kick pedal work, Eric's unique tone on vocals and both Aaron and Josh's melodies and interesting structures. Just hope they get the chance to tour England soon. JAY DYER
